How long is the ENERGY STAR certification valid?

Certifications are valid for a period of one year and must be renewed annually with SRCC when the OG-300 certification is renewed. Manufacturers must also comply with ongoing annual shipment reporting requirements made directly to the U.S. EPA. The EPA sends the requests for shipment data directly to manufacturers at the beginning of the year, and they must be submitted by March 1.
