Supplements

ICC-SRCC offers optional supplements – add-on features for certain certifications and listings to meet specific needs and markets.

  • SRCC’s OG-300 Puerto Rico Supplement provides performance ratings for solar water heaters using four additional hot water loads to meet the unique needs of the region. The four draw patterns used are based on the U.S. Department of Energy Uniform Energy Factor Test Method, and correspond to 10, 38 55 and 84 gallons per day of hot water use. These draw patterns additional provide detail on the performance of solar water heating systems for households of various sizes. Performance ratings are based on actual weather data for San Juan, Puerto Rico.
  • SRCC’s Canadian F379 Rating Supplement provides computer-simulated performance ratings that replicate the test conditions set out in the CSA F379 standard. Results are provided in units of GJ/year for use in software packages such as HOT2000. F379 supplements can be provided with a Canadian listing or an OG-300 certification for a solar water heating system.

Other supplements can also be provided to meet needs in other regions and for other incentive programs. For more information on supplements, contact us.
