The following testing laboratories are recognized by ICC-SRCC to conduct testing to the standards listed for ICC-SRCC certification and listing programs. Recognized Testing Laboratories must comply with ICC-SRCC’s requirements for quality management, testing competency and customer service and are evaluated annually.
Manufacturers requiring product testing services work directly with the accredited testing laboratory of their choice and submit the results to ICC-SRCC with an application for certification. Manufacturers are not required to use a SRCC Recognized Testing Laboratory, but may incur additional charges for the extra reviews that must be conducted to qualify a non-recognized test lab. Also, if the manufacturer is interested in seeking ENERGY STAR certification through SRCC, the collector used in the solar water heater must be tested by a Recognized Testing Laboratory.
Manufacturers are encouraged to contact ICC-SRCC directly before the start of any testing to confirm the specific requirements for their product.
